dannymangin
This year's #MendocinoCoast excursion for @FodorsTravel represents a homecoming, as I'm focusing on several old haunts. Among them is the main building @MacCallumHouse on Albion Street in #MendocinoCA. It hadn't passed the century mark the first time I dropped by for cocktails and dinner, but it's now 141 years old — and still looking splendid.

Fine dining with kids can be tricky - but we had a lovely experience at @maccallum_house in Mendocino! The staff was so welcoming to the kids and when my kids didn’t want anything on the menu they offered to house-made plain pasta to ensure everyone had a fantastic meal. The menu has lovely kid options my children were just really needing something simple after a day of adventures and I am grateful for the kitchen’s willingness to be flexible! Save this for your next trip to Mendocino! The house made ice cream was AMAZING and the full dessert menu was full of delightful options for every taste! They have a full tasting menu that I observed at another table that I would have gladly ordered if I wasn’t solo traveling with 3 kids! My meal was delicious and even with my crazy kids it felt joyfully decadent to be able to enjoy such a beautiful place with them. So whether a your enjoying a family meal or maybe getting a babysitter- make sure you add this to your list when your in Mendocino.
